Revealed: How we made the Peter Obi Video

When a group of us decided to show a little bit about Mr. Peter Obi that most members of the public do not know, we felt sufficiently justified in our actions because we resolved that we will not lie about the man but present the facts based on his past utterances over eight years as governor of Anambra State under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). That is the making of Peter Obi: The Inconsistency of Man.

Let me make a confession, apart from the time spent on research and gathering the material the video was done within one Hour because they are readily available. I know we did not spend more than N50, 000.00 but had hoped that if we could get the Obiano media team to buy the idea we would at least recoup the expense but we were rebuffed.

In the last one week, I’ve read laughable things about huge sums of money being spent to produce and mass produce the video; not to mention my erstwhile hapless colleague Egbuna Amuta who has been given the rare privilege of Producer of a ‘big budget phantom video.’ Funny how Obi’s aide, and his friend Odera of E-mail group has succeeded with their dummy of lies about the Peter Obi video just to re-enforce their theory of Obi and Obiano fight. How they managed to get the whole columnists in Nigeria to be telling the same story without proper fact checking confirms that they must have spent large sum of money chasing our N50, 000 clip of some things Peter Obi said. Mind you there are more clips but we were careful enough to leave out some details less we be accused of hate. Peter is an honorable man but he is hardly the saint he wants all of us to see.

The fact is that I have not met governor Obiano so he did not commission us. However, if he has found favour with our output, we are yet to see the benefits. But let it be known there are many like us, former ABS and APGA members who would like to tell about the Peter Obi we know.  That Anambra Broadcasting Service has been dragged into this is fortuitous. They have at least earned some revenue. In Peter Obi days, when I served the place was abandoned to die. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised they accepted our terms to air the tape just like every other political party are allowed to air their programmes and even hold opinions on air against the present governor. In Peter Obi days, you cannot get that opportunity. Today ABS is back to like and if our small effort would assist the station to pay my former colleagues, so be it.
Peter Obi: The Inconsistency of a Man is an effort to show what we know. Obi’s people should stop blaming others when they are guilty of fighting and lying about Obiano since he came into office. My advice to former governor Obi is that he should stop feigning ignorance and call his aides to order. That way, he will save every Anambrarian and himself from more damaging revelations in the future. He who is in glass house does not throw stones.
