Fresh Fears over Anambra Assembly Election as Arthur Eze Moves to Influence Results

 
The last has not been heard of last Saturday’s House of Assembly election in Anambra State as many people in Dunukofia are worried about stories making the round that businessman and philanthropist, Prince Cheif Engr. Arthur Eze is making some moves to change the result of the April 11, 2015 election and put his own candidate as the winner.

According to information, pressure has been mounted on INEC officials in the state, making the Returning Officer to run into hiding to save his life after turning down bribe offered to him to announce a new winner.  As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of the Returning Officer, Dr. Theophilus Alumona is unknown.


Sources revealed that since the results of the Assembly election were announced, Chief Prince Engr Eze has told his friends that he is not happy at all. Therefore, he started to made efforts to negotiation with INEC and some APGA big boys, offering them plenty dollars to changed the result that made APGA’s Lawrence Ezeudu winner with a total of 9906 votes and put his own  PDP man, John Oloibe who polled 5721 votes as the new winner.

According to information, Chief Prince Eze is not happy that small boys in APGA are messing him up in his village this time around. So, he started to dash money to APGA big boys, promising them that his man, John Oloibe will declared for APGA if they give him the winner.

Our man in Awka said that APGA party members are watching the development with clear eyes to see whether Chief Prince Engr. Arthur Eze will buy everybody with his money or not, saying that they know that their working governor Chief Dr. Willie Obiano will not agreed.

It would be remembered that during the election, our man in Awka Said that the result of voting in Dunukofia showed that Ezeudu win 9906 votes, John Oloibe of PDP wins 5721 votes, Nnamdi Chukwudebelu of APCwon 572 votes, Nwahoba Maureen of Labour Party wins 5 votes, Ezeaku Nnaemeka of PPA win 15 votes, Okonkwo Joseph of UPP won 3 votes, Eze Ikechukwu of UDP wins 1 vote while Nwobu Stella of ACC won zero vote.
